First Friday Vineyard Haven
First Friday is a free community-inspired outdoor event in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard.
Started in 2016 and based on the nation-wide "First Friday" art walks, we celebrate the local art and culture of our island each first Friday of the month June - October and December.
ART
Located right in the Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District, we encourage goers to take a stroll and enjoy all our local galleries, artist studios, and other points of interest who participate each First Friday.

During our events, we also bring artists from all over the island to share and sell their work, provide demos, and even participate in live art experiences!
MUSIC
Martha's Vineyard has a long history of musicians coming to, from, and being inspired by our island. We celebrate this with live music performances at each of our monthly events!

As it gets later in the night, our live performances will convert to a silent disco party complete with headsets and live DJs.
FOOD
From dine-in to take-out, Vineyard Haven has many options for food every day.

During our event, we raise the bar by bringing local food pop-ups to town for extra diversity once a month! From food trucks to food carts, we have a great selection to choose from so always come to town hungry and plan to leave full!

You can walk right off the ferry and into the middle of our harbor town.

Support local businesses in town (some even run specials on First Fridays!)

Daytime Art Market on Beach St. Ext. with local artists and participating galleries.
​
5pm - 11pm
Head towards Owen Park for local food and artist vendors, with live music on the beach followed by a silent disco.​
